I am often asked how I came to
interior design from an engineering background. Although it may not be obvious,
engineering and interior design have much in common. What I loved most about being an engineer was placing myself in
the user's experience and striving to improve that experience. Focusing on what a person perceives
and how they interact with a product captivated me. But my passion to shape a person's experience
on a grander scale grew, and I was yearning for an aesthetic outlet. Interior design offered the
perfect combination of creative and technical opportunity for me, providing a platform to shape
the way people perceive and interact with interior environments.
